Parents

If your child attends the shed please pop in and speak to a member of staff at anytime. If you have any concerns about anything, or would like to check out the facilities that we provide for the young people in our care we can give you a quick tour!

All our volunteers are required to complete a CRB (Police Check) when they start at the shed and this may take a couple of months to be processed. During this period staff waiting for CRB clearance are monitored on a 1:1 basis by CRB cleared staff and kept in constant view of CRB checked staff at all times. In addition to this the shed is covered by Child Safe who implement and oversee our child protection policies.

Our aim at the shed is to provide a safe environment for the young people of Burnham, Highbridge and the surrounding area to meet with their fiends and to provide them with plenty of things to keep them occupied.

The shed staff monitor all areas of the café by staying in the background and being there to help when required.
