The Cafe
The Shed Youth Cafe was initiated by the Police and Sedgemoor District Council, was put together by a Local Action Team, was Launched on 6th March 2009, and now attracts on average 100 young people a week.
It's a place for 11-17 year olds where young people can: hang out, chill, play console games (X-Box 360's, PS3's, Wii and Wii Fit, PS2's, World Tour Guitar Hero, Come Dance, DJ Hero and Rockband etc.) or play pool, watch you-tube, E4 and other freeview channels on the big screen or individual LCD TVs, use WIFI or MP3 player station, play footie,basketball, American footie on the outdoor flood-lit court or on the table footie game, get your nails done at the nail-bar, have a temporary tattoo done or simply stuff yourself at the cafe bar.
It's a drop in venue where you can come and go as you please...
